“New Hijab” Styles that Aren’t Hijab!
I came across this video and laughed my head off, as it touches upon a pretty important topic whilst keeping light-hearted. It reflects my views on the “new hijab” which I have been talking about for over a year now. In this video the presenter talks about the different styles of “new hijab” which are not actually the correct Islamic hijab.
This is not looking down on people who do not wear the hijab properly. It is just showing that there is a correct way for us to work towards.

It it my Hijab anniversary today. Many years ago I found freedom in wearing it and every day I’m happy I made that choice.
If asked what was one of the best decisions I’ve made so far in life, deciding to wear the Hijab would rank at the top of the list.
Every anniversary I take time out and reflect on the days leading up to my decision to gain freedom and independence. They were the most spiritual days of my life.
And every anniversary I ask God to keep me firm on this path I have chosen.
