Congrats to Unique!
Success feels good, I gotta admit that folks. The smell of it, the taste of it, the extra bounce it gives you, making you look a little taller, a little bolder and a lot happier. I succeeded in something today that I thought would be impossible. It was something I had always wanted to do but kept discouraging myself because I believed I was not intelligent for it.
The power of a good friendship encouraged and inspired me to go ahead and face my fear of failure. I went for it like a bull racing towards a red flag. I threw myself into my studies and made sure I revised and did not leave it till the last minute (although I will be honest, there was last minute recapping, but that’s different).
And I did it. I passed my exam with a 100% mark. It feels pretty good. And it taught me a lesson I’ll never forget; don’t believe failure is your second name. You may just surprise yourself. I know I did.
And I’m still grinning, still shouting to everyone I know “I passed!!” and overall feeling fantastic. You don’t have to know what I exactly passed at, all you need to know is that I passed at something real important to me.
Who said you needed a guy to feel this good? I feel fantastic. I feel independent. I feel, well, unique. We all are in our own, special way.
